This is a substancial capped shaft approximately 3.1m in diameter. It was used to extract Bath Stone to the surface. There is 4.5m of bedrock from the ceiling to the base of the capping.
The shaft is now lost under Firs Field.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: The shaft was probably associated with two major cartways underground and may have serviced three separate quarry areas.
