The Hawkins survey of the quarries in 1990 deeded the area that this shaft as an "inaccessible region." Willies et al (2011) understood that the shaft was infilled with debris and a concrete plug.

It is also shown on the 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps of 1873-1888 (South West England).

The shaft is lost in the front garden of 31 Westerleigh Gardens.
