This very large shaft is approximately six metres in diameter but was a close inspection by Willies et al (2011) was not possible due in restricted access.

The shaft is not shown on the 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps of 1873-1888 (South West England) but may be shown by a small walled enclosure on the 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps of 1892-1914.

The shaft is infilled with large blocky rubble and is lost in the front yard of 34 Combe Road.
