This shaft was infilled by the time of the Combe Down Stabilisation Project with silty clay and a number of glass bottles according to Willies et al (2011) .
The shaft is not shown on the 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps of 1873-1888 (South West England) but may be shown by small walled enclosure on the 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps of 1892-1914.
The shaft is lost under the house at 21 Combe Road.
