This is a very small site labbelled "Old Quarry" on large scale Ordnance Survey map of the ninrteenth century. The site is now infilled, levelled and has housing built on it.
It is not known if there were any underground workings.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Irving (2005) records Henry Street, one of the more successful local quarrymasters living at Crossway Place in 1810, and in the 1846 Silverthorne directory for Bath and Bristol, Byfield J., a quarry-master, is living at Crossway Place. This house is approximately 150 metres west of the Old Quarry.
