This quarry, at the top of Entry Hill was described by Wooster (1978) as "extensive workings." The quarry was working in 1839 and site is clearly shown on mid-nineteenth century large scale Ordnance Survey maps but extraction is reported as finished by 1904.
It is reported that rubble from the 1942 air raids on Bath was used to partially infill the quarry and the site now complately infilled and levelled, in use as a playing field.
It is not known whether there was any underground quarrying.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
