Little is known of this site although Wooster (1978) references it as a sepaarte site from that of the main Sprinffield Quarry. He describes it "a small quarry face with entrances, to
the face behind the houses. This was later to become part of the larger Springfield Quarry.
Alternative Names: Springfield Quarry
Notes: The quarry is not shown on large scale Ordnance Survey maps before 1888, but is shown as a separate entity on maps dated 1888-1915.
