A huge, steeply-inclined 5m diameter shaft, 37m deep and blocked with boulders below quarry floor level. Extending upwards to within 3m of the surface it was completely destroyed within a few days of its discovery.

Notes: Discovered by quarrying, January 1968. Destroyed.
