Hillier's Cave represents a downstream continuation of both Withyhill Cave and Hillwithy Cave and is entered through the roof of the main streamway. Upstream leads to West Sump, and the choked connection with Hillwithy Cave, while downstream, a long, roomy passage interrupted by grottoes and boulder chokes eventually yields the Red Room, a 15m long and 5m wide chamber festooned with ochre stained flowstone. The final boulder choke terminates very close to the hillside a little to the west of St. Dunstan's Well. The connection from Fairy Cave enters at roof level just upstream of the Second Boulder Choke.

Alternate Names: Fairy Cave 2

Notes: Discovered by quarrying, February 1954

Hydrographic Resurgences: St. Dunstan's Well West (CSS 1975 - 20 mins)
