Two uncovered 'drainage holes' were noted by Environmental Gain Ltd during an ecological survey on behalf of Redcliffe Homes, prior to a proposed residential development. They reported the two, approximately 5 metre deep, drainage holes within the small area of broadleaved woodland adjoining Park Lane stating that they did not lead to any underground structures and were not suitable for
bats.

Notes: It was reported in 2019 that one of these shafts / drainage holes was accessible by a rusty ladder.
