It has proved impossible to locate this quarry as a housing estate was built on the area in the 1950s. The MRO map has it as Bradford on Avon 5 at ST 831 612 and this corresponds with the site of an old quarry on an 1887 OS map.
Alternative Names: Bradford on Avon 5, , Vezey's Quarry
Notes: Niblett in his 'Memories of Bradford on Avon' (1981) states that before the First World War the Bradford Volunteers used Kingsfield Quarry as an underground rifle range.
