The obvious gated entrance nearly at the top of Masons Lane, opposite Ivy Terraces was recorded by Hawkins in 'Bath Stone Quarries' (2011) as a single passage approximately 60 feet long.

Notes: No history of stone extraction is known for this quarry. It was recorded as Bradford on Avon quarry 2 by the MRO for rescue purposes.
