There is a slope shaft and an air shaft into the mine. 138,234 square feet total area of which 59,320 sq ft capable of development. Used by the Ministry of Aircraft Production in WW2 and last used to test suitability of Samson coal cutters to cut stone. Slope shaft lost uner driveway of house on new housing estate.
