Small entrance leads into works that now connect to the main Kingsdown Quarry (Swan Mine) complex which have a well preserved crane and remnants of a second crane as well as many other points of interest. Stone was removed by horse and cart. It has been little vandalized and should remain that way!
Alternative Names: Kingsdown, Kingdown Quarry, King's Down Quarry, Ashley Wood
Notes: Further up the hill from the Main Entrance is a small hole in the stone face.
