The two Delta Rectangle Shafts or Webb's Stores Shafts are due east of the Cathedral. From inside Box Quarry, there is an atmospheric stone staircase leading to an unsafe 20 metre iron ladder, that accesses a brick blockhouse on the surface. The capped shaft has a MOD iidentification of TPS82.
Alternative Names: Delta Rectangle Shafts, Ginny Ring Shaft, Webb's Stores Shaft
Notes: Although the shaft was capped by the brick blockhouse many years ago, an attempt to reopen it in May 2017 was quickly thwarted by the MOD.
