The shaft is not shown on the OS 25 inch maps of 1892 - 1914. SLR Consulting Limited investigated the site in 2014 and report an air shaft on both the 1921 and 1965 Ordnance Survey maps. It does not however, appear on OS maps after 1970. Images on Google Earth (2002 - 2018) appear to show a fenced area that may contain the shaft. The approximate position is obtained from Google Earth.

Notes: In February 2014, SLR Consulting Limited was commissioned by Redcliffe Homes Limited to prepare a Mining Risk Assessment for the site as part of a residential development at the site.
