This brick built shaft top provides ventilation to the eastern area of the underground workings of the quarry.
Alternative Names: Westwood Stone Quarry
Notes: The shaft is not shown on nineteenth century maps and was possible constructed by the Ministry of Supply during their use of the quarrie in the Second World War.
