This well was reported by the owner in 2021 as being in existence "before the house I'm told and the house has a 1643 date It's about 20 feet (6m) deep and a stream running not still water and I wonder if it's the stream that you can see in Market Place running under the pavement into the old brewery, now the engineering works."
