Air shaft into a very small underground quarry. The quarry originally had a Slope shaft and an air shaft. Slope shaft leads to a T junction with passages running straight ahead and right, both leading to dead ends. Poor rock lead to its quick closure on December 11th 1902. The air shaft was probably initially dug as a trial shaft. Hollybush was closed on December 11th 1902. The air shaft is capped with rubbish tipped down it and lost at surface.
Alternate Names: Hollybush Quarry
