The shaft is fenced. A 1m diameter shaft into the limestone. 6m deep, dry stone walled at top, blocked at bottom.

Notes: From old school at Cleeve follow main path into Goblin Combe for about 200m past gate, take path up hill sharp L for about 1km. The path takes a sharp left turn and the mine is 125m to the left of the path. 10m from Goblin Combe Mineshaft 2.
