Explored by in 1951. Sump first passed by Stanton and 50m passage explored. Sump normally 2m long but becomes 6m long in wet weather.. Alternative dry entrance leads down to inner sump pool. Diving in 1956 failed to find any extension.

Notes: Ludwell Cave has three entrances one wet, two dry the second dry entrance is above the wet entrance. The lower entrance, is Ludwell Resurgence.
