This cave, located at ground level in the southern face of Vallis Quarry is the most easterly significant cave on Mendip. A crawl leads to a wriggle up into two muddy chambers, where the extraordinarily smooth unconformity between the Carboniferous Limestone and Inferior Oolite, seen throughout the area, is well exposed.
Alternative Names: Cheese Cave
