This small man-made void is possibly an ancient exploratory excavation for Fuller's Earth. It is located on the edge of Midford Road
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: A visit in 2024 suggested that this mine's length could be increased as it appears to continue through an "impassable hole."
Fuller's Earth was mined to the north, in nearby Horsecombe Vale between 1893 and 1945.
