This spring is piped to the nineteenth century Whistley Lane Spout or Plump Well. The pump has Grade II listed status.

Alternate Names: The Plump Well

Notes: The Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Magazine reported in 1976], that the "Plump Well was an unfailing source of pure water to Lower Street pump and, until 1926, a daily supply by hand to Courthill House."
