At the western end of the quarry, a cave 27 feet long in what was then the active face. It was a narrow rift completely lined with calcite crystals. Exposed in or about October 1959 and "explored" by Richard Ivens and members of the East Devon Caving Group on 24 October 1959. Believed quarried away shortly after.
