Entrance situated at the base of an old quarry face. It is an obvious tube emitting a powerful draught particularly on hot summer days. A 3m long wriggle enters a breccia filled chamber with a fractured roof by way of a 2m drop created by excavation of the floor of the chamber. There is a small side passage to the left as one enters and choked extensions to the right. At the far end of the chamber an excavated crawl led to a shallow dug shaft in boulders and shale. This has now been backfilled and a continuing crawl ends in draughting breakdown.
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: The cave is being actively dug with permission from the landowner. Contact the local registrar for further information.
