1.2m diameter concrete shaft through machine excavated clays to head of conglomerate rift.Digging operations progressing down a series of small shafts and narrow rifts in mudstones leading to a 23m pitch as the cave re-enters Dol Com. (Jan 2015)The sound of a stream way ahead bodes well for future discoveries and the probable connection to Wigmore Swallet.
Digging continues but up to date and accurate reports are unavailable.
