This cave is situated on a ledge at the top left corner of the smooth and near vertical Fir Tree Slab. It is probably best reached by ascending the gully which marks the start of the novices climb known as 'Easy Route'. A 3m drop enters a roomy passage which can be followed through a crawl to a muddy rift, which sometimes contains a shallow pool. Two further 3m drops yields a small network of passages. Another tiny entrance has been recorded 20m further left, at the same level.
Alternative Names: Hadies Cave, Portway Cave, Fir Tree Slab Cave
