Several separate mines with adit entrances from down the hill below the current recycling centre accessed these works via an inclined tramway, which hauled the earth up to the processing plant. Fourteen underground workers in 1918 but these may have been for the Lower Works. In 2006, the site was a reclaimation plant and the slope below it, where the adits and tramways were situated, has been regraded, and

virtually nothing now remains except for some

loading-bay walls lower down, adjoining Combe

Hay Lane.

Alternative Names: None recorded.

Notes: North and south of the lane which runs from Combe Hay up to Odd Down. 2 foot gauge tramway, battery electric locos and skip wagons when it was working.
