Located in Spring Cove. A small sloping bedding plane displays two hand cut basins which fill with fresh water derived from seepages along the limestone/basalt interface.

Alternative Names: Dropping Well Cave, Dripping Well

Notes: The water was used as domestic water supply and earlier for medicinal purposes. The cave collapsed in a storm in 1861 leaving the floor open to daylight. Water still seeps from the lava and fills the two fonts.
