A 28m deep rectangular shaft (2.4m x 1.8m) lined, the top 6m which is built of square stones leads to a 25m horizontal passage. A 10m shaft reaches water. This has been dived - a 6m shaft reaches a 30m passage heading S and a 15m passage heading N.

Alternate Names: None recorded.

Notes: This shaft was uncovered in 2002 when a tractor driver nearly put his vehicle down it. The foundations for a Cornish beam engine, adjacent to the shaft, were excavated in 2006.
